Questions
What is an OTP verification form?
It's a form that asks for a one-time code before it can be sent. Tapzy emails or texts a 6-digit code to the address or number the person typed, and only accepts the response once the code matches.
Can people skip the code?
No. The check happens on our server when the form is submitted, so a response without a confirmed code is rejected.
Do I need a Twilio account for SMS codes?
Yes, SMS codes are sent through your own Twilio account, and Twilio bills you for the messages. Email codes need no setup.
How long does a code last?
Five minutes. Each code can be sent up to 4 times and allows 5 wrong tries, and each address can ask for up to 5 codes every 15 minutes.
Can I get notified only about verified responses?
Yes. You can limit email notifications and integrations such as Google Sheets or HubSpot to verified responses.
How do WhatsApp codes work?
Pick WhatsApp in the phone field's settings — there's nothing to connect. Tapzy sends the code from its official WhatsApp sender, powered by MYWA.net. Each code uses one WhatsApp credit: paid plans include credits every month, and you can buy more any time.
Does Tapzy support Google sign-in?
