Paste your Google Form’s responder link and download a QR code for posters, slides and handouts. No watermark, no expiry.

  • No sign-up
  • Private, in your browser
  • Unlimited use

From a form link to a QR code.

Paste the link people use to answer your Google Form, not the link you use to edit it.

Where do I find the responder link?
  1. Open your form in Google Forms and make sure it’s published and accepting responses.
  2. Click Publish (or Send on older forms), then Copy responder link. A short forms.gle link works too.
  3. Paste it above. Don’t copy the address bar while editing: that’s the editing link.

Under the hood

What this QR code does.

The QR code holds your form’s link directly. There’s no redirect, no expiry and no scan tracking in between, so it keeps working as long as the form stays published.

Because the link is inside the code, a new form means a new QR code. If you need to change the destination after printing, use a dynamic QR code instead.

Responder link → QR code → PNG or SVG

A quick example

Paste https://forms.gle/…, download the PNG for a slide or an email, or the SVG for a poster that prints sharp at any size.

Keep in mind

  • Use the responder link, not the editing link from your address bar.
  • Keep the white border around the code when you place it in a design.
  • Check the form is published and open to the people you’re sharing it with.

If your QR code doesn’t work

Most problems come from the link or the form’s settings, not the QR code.

Getting more scans

  1. Say what people get.“Tell us about your visit, 2 minutes” works better than a code on its own.
  2. Print it big enough.About 2 cm (0.8 in) wide for close up, and larger for posters seen from a distance.
  3. Test before printing.Scan it with two different phones, signed out of your Google account.
  4. Put it where people wait.Receipts, tables, counters, event badges and slides all work well.

Google Forms QR Code Generator questions

How do I make a QR code for a Google Form?

In Google Forms, click Publish (or Send on older forms) and copy the responder link. Paste it into this generator and download the QR code as PNG or SVG.

Why does my Google Form QR code open an editing page?

The code was made from the editing link. Copy the responder link instead, which starts with forms.gle or ends in /viewform, and make a new code.

Does the QR code expire?

No. The code holds your form's link directly, with no redirect or tracking. It works as long as your form stays published and accepting responses.

Can I change the link after printing?

No. To change it, you need a new code. If you want to edit the destination after printing, use a dynamic QR code, such as the ones in a Tapzy account.

Is this free?

Yes. There's no sign-up, no watermark and no limit on how many codes you make.
